Government breaks promise on Safety Net

Access believes the Labor Government lacked any kind of compassion and understanding that infertility is a devastating medical condition. Infertility is not a choice. The one in six people who need medical help have no control over this condition. The Government provides funding for a variety of treatments for diseases that are in many cases preventable, but it is now taking away support for people with a legitimate medical condition.

We call on all members to let the Government know your dismay in the way they have ignored families needing fertility treatment.
