 Nov-05 In vitro oocyte maturation success
Swedish doctors report of a case of successful in vitro oocyte maturation after repeated failed cycles of IVF treatment.
The woman underwent low dose gonadotrophin stimulation followed by laboratory maturation of the oocyte, ICSI and thankfully an uneventful pregnancy and birth. This must hold some hope for some who have had to freeze ovarian tissue.
